I have recently started to clean out the garbage and discovered that I have an 1998-Grand Cherokee WJ brake booster and was wondering what all additionally might I need to make this an easy bolt-on XJ brake upgrade-I'm thinking of going down to the local pick and pull this weekend and scavengeing up maybe a brake master cylinder and proportioning unit from another WJ-Any head-ups advice or comments/suggestions-TIA

A 98 Grand is a ZJ, not a WJ. I'm not sure about the how that affects your plans.

Yeah, a ZJ booster wouldn't quiet be the same. You might get it to work, but it would be better to hit car-part.com and get a WJ master/booster for $50 shipped..
