I have to replace the yoke in a 8.25. Is it gunna be a PITA. I have searched quite thouroughly. Does anyone have a write up on how to do this?

Block wheels
Remove driveshaft from yoke
Remove nut holding yoke on (1 1/8" if I recall correctly or maybe1 1/16")
Remove yoke by sliding it off.
Installation in reverse.

Theres your writeup.

Theres not a crush sleeve on the 8.25?

One thing you forgot to add:
-Use a punch or something else like it to index the nut to the pinion shaft and count the threads that are sticking out. This is to make sure that you have the same preload when you go back together

Checking your preload with an inch pound dial style torque wrench or the thread counting routine are alternatives.

I would reccomend an impact wrench, a breaker bar may work with the wheels blocked & the parking brake on, but it didnt for me. Big socket like a 32mm or something
