for the frame side and was wondering what you all have done, just for some different ideas.
for some background, when i put the radious arms on and moved the axle forward, the coil started to rub the mount so i needed to move the track bar mount so the coil would not rub it any more and to get a little more clearance on the track bar and axle, pluss i am modding the track bar to eliminate the OEM frame side ball joint and going with a bushing there ( trail only so it can have a rubber upper and lower ) since i am changing the style of track bar and moving the mount the holes wont line up any more, why not build a new one with more beef any way.
i am thinking 3/16 plate 9.5 inches top to bottom with a 4.5 inch flange going under the frame ( like this -I ) and on the bottun side a 4 inch piece of 2X4 3/16 wall tubing with gussets added and notched to accomidate the track bar. for added ridgity i will run 2 pieses of 1X1 angle down the veritcal plate.
so inputs and ideas are welcome. by the way this will be welded in place plus some bolts that i can make work.

I had to move my track bar towards the rear (over the axle). For the frame side I took the stock frame mount and cut out the inner material and TRE mount. Inserted a piece of 2x2x1/4, slid it to where I needed the frame side to begin (About 1.5 inches rear) and welded it all up. Drilled out the 2x2 insert and installed a 5/8's heim on the frame side of the track bar.
Frame side trackbar mounts in the same location but the track bar now sets 1.5 inches back centered over the front axle.
then I had to fab an over the axle mount for the track bar, actually used the ORG mount for the start of this and shortened the track bar to fit.

You thinking about making the mount like this?

Thats what I have. It's just two pieces of angle welded together.
You cut off the bottom of your stock one and weld that in it's place. I ordered it with the build it yourself trac bar too.

here is a shot of the clearance now, before the track bar was rubing the oil pan, the UCA mount and the Drivers side coil was rubbing the TB mount, not now!

You have pics of the axle bracket?think about it, :twak: i am swaping the axle this weekend, .................................................. ....why oh why would i build a custom axle bracket for the track bar on an axle that is for sale??? :twak:
the axle side is still stock, even on the one going in, they are working fine for now so why change it?

My bad, I expected more from a self-proclaimed super fabricator than using something stock. :kissyou:

Super Fabricators save themselves up for the really important challenges, not get sidetracked on less critical save for later scuttwork. :D
