They are pretty much different designs
Motor's about it.
The front suspension's the same geometry, but the control arm bushings are a dif. width. They can be made to fit, but not direct swap.
You can swap the front springs across for about an inch of lift.
the tie rod is thicker and the pitman arm is about 1 inch more drop than the XJ. I also believe some of the grands came with a 140 amp alternator that will swap into an XJ
