Dana 44 . Will this work in an XJ ?

Was wondering about this. Says from a truck , but I am thinking it would fit an XJ , huh ? Sounds like a good deal .

wrong side drop and wrong width and not for front coils. stock width's are 60 rear and 62 front? i think. it would take a lot of modification. if you don't mind running wide axles look front and rear out of older ford pickup, they are the correct side drop

All you had to do was go and look under your XJ. You could have answered your own question.
