Wasn't there some years that the 9" rear and 44 front are a straight bolt in on the xj? Where the spring perch lines up and what nots for the front, and use the radious arms. Getting ready to go look at a 1975.5 front bronco axle, the one were nothing had been molded into the center section. Was looking to do a 44 front, using ford axle and cut to waggy width, but pass side bronco tube is like 28" and the waggy is 30" (rounded #'s) and it would be harder to add 2" then to cut off.

Nothing will bolt up. Some things will have to be changed to make it "bolt up."

You could always leave them full width, and run some bigger backspaced wheels.
