360 swap

I have an 89 cherokee laredo, the I6 is ready to go...plus there are many electrical problems. I want to jerk all the computer junk out and drop a mild 360 in its place. Pretty much go basic with it. Has any one here tried this? Or should i just send the ole 'kee to its grave.:skull2:

listen to me...

DO not do it unless you want a new tranny or you can fab up a fail safe adpater plate for the flext plate to mount to the tranny...the AW4 torque converter has 4 bolts the 727 and TH400 have 3...

Find an I6 and stroke it, and go that route, the V8 swap is ultra expensive...also you need to fab your own motor mounts up for the AMC 360...
