interesting how it fits right over the body line in the hood center. did you cut a hole underneath it?

Why is it a POS? It looks like it could be functional to some extent, maybe not for induction but for cooling purposes.

Anybody have other pics of hood scoops on XJ's? I'm going to have to go that route in a while and am looking for the least-fugly. Thinking 2" cowl, perhaps. It has to cover a 14" hole.

find a 280zx turbo hood scoop in the junkyard for 20 bucks instead. i think i have one laying around if youre interested.

This is one i mounted on a rabbit racecar i used to have that i turboed. not mounted in the pic, obviously, but its a nice little scoop.
