What are the definate years that the flex plates are different in the AW4's? I know the Renix stuff in 91 and older don't match with 92 and newer....but is there another break later on?
My 92 AW4 is in an 03 TJ (sorry to bring this to you guys but you know this tranny better than anyone else). Since the swap I've lost a ton of power and smells like it's running rich. Seems like a timing issue to me. Flexplate could dictate that could it not?
The other thing that has jumped in my head tonight is the CPS. Since I'm in Alberta Canada could it be that I have the high altitude CPS? Could it be bolted in 180deg out of wack? This would retard the timing instead of advancing it like it's suposed to.
Maybe I'm grasping at straws....I don't know for sure.
Any help?
