Brian, post up if you head out to redington or the gap and I’ll try and make it. I need to unpack the rig from two weeks in colo and source a tire wear problem on my hp60. http://www.dakotacom.net/~jeepster/tipshades.gif

Steve, We were just talking about you the other day. Saying that we havnt heard from you in awhile.
It would be good to wheel with you again. I am thinking that we should hit the reddington area since he GAP could be flooded pretty good with the monsoon storms.
Lets get a few more guys along for the run. 5 - 6 rigs makes a fun run that dont take a long time either.

chimneys got some good mud on the bellota ranch way in; i heard chiva wasnt even running saturday morning though. but after all this rain over the week that sure could have changed. i may be up for a sat. night run.

So does that mean your going? I only know Chiva falls not chimney Rock. So I am looking for someone to lead us if we do Chimney Rock. Steve AKA XJ20 might go and he can lead chimney since he has been there several times.
HINT HINT HINT, Steve, thats your clue to make sure you make it!!!!!!!

Also, I am thinking that we will depart from the regular circle K at 5pm. That should give us enough time to get to a nice place for a BBQ dinner at sunset and then some nice wheelin.
Bring us back into town probably around 9 or 10pm.

Chiva is a more fun trail to run. There isnt much to do at chimney.

if you crawl on the rocks in Chimney there is *plenty* to do - besides the mud pits on the way on. When I find out if im working Sunday morning early or not, maybe ill go out there. If steve cant go and i can i have no problem leading. its not that difficult to find, but looking for some of the interesting lines/fun spots there that may be a different story. Theres also a slightly longer back way in (or way out) thats more difficult then the Bellota ranch entrance, but that may be a bit dangerous to try depending on rain conditions now till saturday - the back way takes you through quiet a length of a big wash.

Sweet Dan, I hope you can make it. It will just be nice to get out and wheel in cooler weather.

Sunday night at chimney... just a few pics. You can see a couple lines in the rocks that are a bit of fun. Theres plenty more though out there. Some of the pictures are washed out b/c of the lighting. I'm hoping I can wheel more this week as well. :)

No! I figured tomorrow I would get them. I didnt feel like gettin another axle out tonight. Besides the bolt broke on the pass upper control arm when I pulled it out so the axle is hangin there by a bolt.Hasta

It looks like maybe you and me. Do you want to go to chimney rock or maybe three feathers for the show? Or both.
Call me on my cell after lunch if anything comes up. See you at 5:00. http://www.dakotacom.net/~jeepster/tipshades.gif

Hey boys and girls, bring your rain jackets becouse the forcast is stating rain for the next 4 days straight. It has been pouring down rain for the last few hours at my house, and I am just off the Rincon mountains so I will presume it is pouring up there. I cant even see them due to the clouds.
Bring it on man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It doesn't even look wet there. Rained at my place most of the day and evening.
AZRockRunner
July 29th, 2007, 14:52
It really wasnt that wet at all. We heard Chiva was dry so we didnt go all the way there. I played a little at taillight hole and that was about all. Jeep flex's a heck of alot better with those 6.5" coils. I need to adjust the shock locations to get a little more uptravel but the droop is AWSOME!!! I made pretty easy work of that hole and still have my tail lights.
To bad Justins Serp belt snapped, it was nice and cool and dry.
Ohwell, another night run indeed is needed, maybe to the gap this time. More fun stuff to do there anyway.
