When you leaving for Big Bear?

I was hoping to leave mid-day but not gonna happen....

My mother-in-law can not leave work until 3:00, then she has to drive from LAX to Lake Forest. I do not expect her before 6:00 PM. I took tomorrow off too... damn it.. Oh well, I will check the Jeep out and get it loaded. We will leave as soon as she gets or 6:30m which ever is later.

If anyone is leaving OC area around 6:30 or 7:00 we can meet up somewhere and caravan up the hill...

I am trying to leave by about 2pm or so from Lake Elsinore, so i should be up at BB by about 4:30 (yep, damn slow drive up the hill towing my tent trailer). Camping at Serrano with the girls. See you all up there.

You may want to try to leave before 7:00. After that, you will be pushing it. It is at least 1.5 hours, with no traffic or trucks going up the mountain.

If anyone is running a few minutes late, please call me or someone to let the group know. We should be leaving the Discovery Center at 9:00 AM sharp.

Hey Matt, It sounds like you got your rig fixed. Cool.. What was the issue??

Robert's right. It will take at least 1.5hrs. It takes about 2hrs from my house.

Let's meet at the 91frwy & Imperial (It's 2 exits east of the 55frwy) at 7am.. Make a right on Imperial, then a right in the first drive way. There's a parking lot; I just forgot when shops are in there.

Let me know if something comes up so I'll know wether to stop or not.

Others are welcome to meet us there too.

May I suggest you guys meet at Auto Center Drive in Corona? There's a McDonalds and an ARCO right off of the exit. That's where I meet folks all of the time, and you can grab breakfast!

Well, big change of plans for me... we are bringing our boy with us afterall, so that means the XJ and the TJ are heading up the hill tonight. Kaleb loves the rocks, so it will be fun.

Anyone else going up tonight, leaving OC around 7:00 ish? We can meet at the McDonalds off of the 91 at Auto Center Drive around 7:15 ish...

Well it is almost fixed. Mike helped me figure out the problem.. though i am a little ashamed to admit what it was.... it ended up just being the coil wire... which was about a year old.. but had dried out on the inside and become hard and cracked... must have been a bad set .. we fixed a couple other things.. bipassed the leaky heater core(better not get cold in BB) and flushed out some garbage in my radiator, I have to try and install a powersteering pump tonight .. and then i will be ready to go. i hope. i'll give you a shout if i can make that time tomorrow. let you know a little later today.. i work till 7

What rep? I am going, just was nto sure what was going on with my kid and mother-in-law. Hell, if I had my way about it, I would have been there at noon....

As soon as my mother-in-law gets here, we are gone. Stopping by Costco to pick-up some meat, then by the gas station for gas and ice...
