Im not really great at appraising things, but I doubt I would personaly go to much above KBB+rough cost of lift/tires. I personaly don't like the idea of a locked D35 with 33s but thats just me heh.

its actually cleaner looking than mine and mines a 95 haha uhm.. pretzle rear axle is a piece of crap, a detroit in that 35 = better buy stock in the company that sells you axleshafts, cause you'll be buying alot of them :D i dunno if it runs as good as he says it does probably around 2000-3000? thats just a guess. with that shitty axle i'd offer him 1500 and see what he says. the lift is worthless the second he put it on so dont bother figuring that into the price :D

Lets see.
1988 cherokee WANNA BE PRE-RUNNER.
I've never met a pre-runner guy who didnt BEAT HIS RIG TO SHIT.
Don't forget that its likely hammered. ;) I'd say $2500 on the very very high end.

I dunno man, RE lift, clean jeep, all you'd have to do is an axle swap? I'd say 2500 is a TAD on the low side, but of course I'm no expert. I'd expect 3-4k on that one, even though it's older. Most the stuff that make these older ones act up has been replaced, and i don't see evidence of someone beating the piss out of it. If this guy will let it go for 2 grand or 2500, I'd smile and motor the heck out of it :). That's my quite possibly incorrect 2 cents.

tHis jeep looks awesome I see it on a daily basis. The kid's dad put alot of work into it just bringing it back from the deteriated state it was in. I had tried buying this Jeep once from the guy this kid got it from and he told me 5k so I shined him on. But if all goes well I'll be getting it this time. Unless someone knows of a better buy else-where...

That's a mighty nice looking rig but even with all the mods I wouldn't go past $10K.

I asked what rear end was in it, and he said the factory jeep dana axle...most likely the D35....I reaaly don't think it's worth more than 5K...

I wouldn't go much past 4500. That's what I bought my 96 for 3 yrs ago and that was still $1500 below retail blue book. Private Party I think was like 5300 or so. Mods devalue the vehicle. Officially. Never expect to get anywhere near what the parts and/or labor cost when selling. Conversely never plan to pay for mods when buying a modified vehicle.
