Well I have a new project. A 1991 Mustang, 4cyl.

That photo actually flatters the car, the paint is trashed, faded and different shades, the trunk has small surface rusted holes for the spoiler and the windshield is cracked. But who am I to complain... it was free!

But it gets pretty good gas milage, and still has the potential to look good.
Specs: 7.25 rear axle, RWD, Power windows, locks, alarm, and cruise.

It definitely needs work but has potential. Some of my plans for it are,
New wheels ,which I already have(really rare Enkei's)
Lower 1.5"s, which is getting done tomorrow
Spoiler
And paint, I'm thinking silver or blue... both would look good with white wheels...
What else looks good with white wheels?
Race seats
Stereo
Exhaust,

I'm not planning on doing all of this at once, it's going to be done a little at time, just as a fun little car to work on.

I'm planning on dropping the 302 in it in a few years after I get finished with it.

Anyways, just thought I'd share my new project.

They suck in snow.... otherwise I guess they are OK... I'd stay with the red myself, color changes are a PIA.

A more electric, vibrant blue would look great with white wheels. Personally, I've never thought silver cars with white wheels looked good. :dunno: Nice project score, though, and good luck.

If you've got white wheels..i'd go with a dark paint color. One of the best looking Mustangs i've ever seen was a black 98ish Cobra with white powdercoated Cobra R wheels. I'm sure they were a real PITA to keep clean, but it looked absolutely awesome.

I really want to stay away from red, theres quite a few mustangs in town and about 85% of them are red, and I dont want to blend in with all the other ones, as I'm trying to make this one kind of origional.

I'm kind of leaning towards a blue, although it needs to be fairly bright because I'm doing the paint job and easier colors to paint are bright ones, because darker colors show flaws and mistakes more clearly.

Read what I wrote above about a dark color... And yeah my wheels are going to be extremely hard to keep clean, as they're a mesh wheel, but I think Im going to keep 'em clean no matter what because they're extremely rare, and I'm almost positive no one else in my town has them, which I like :)
I'll snap a pic of them tomorow and post them up.

Lowered and New wheels.
Lowered it around 3"s in the back and about 2.5"s in the font.
Next comes the paint and spoiler. Still undecided on what color.
