here is my newest project that i had delivered last night. 85 cj. no motor or transfer case. sitting on 44" tires and its coming with a 9" rear axle. but im swapping that for a shaved 14 bolt for the rear and a d60 upfront

no body rot. only surface rust.and one body mount is pretty rusty. will be welding a new one on..

I recently bought a `83 CJ8 that had been f-ed up by the previous owner as well. Bought it for the "rust free" tub.

It's gonna take a lot of work to turn it into a usable vehicle again. Almost a regret, almost.

i was kind of kicking my self in the ass yesterday. and thinking " what did i get myself into"

but i went out and stood next to it again today and im happy i bought it. ive wanted a trail only rig for a while and this will be it. its a good starting point. solid body(some surface rust) and a solid frame(besides the one body mount)

i love my cherokee but it is to new to really beat on the trail. so ill have my cherokee sitting on 34s for a DD and ill have this to work on.

im going to drop the tire size down to probably 38.5 boggers or some 39.5 iroks. si ill be lowering the suspension and dropping the body lift.

plus its getting a shaved 14 bolt in the back and a d60 up front. an im going to extend the wheelbase 5 inches in the back and one in front. due to the full size axle kit i am getting from poison spyder customs

in the end im aiming for something along these lines
