Anyone in the market for a TW rear shaft?
Here's the deal. I already have a rear DS for my Jeep but I need an SYE for my NP242. Tom Woods doesn't sell just the SYE for the 242 because of lack of profit. He said it's more of a tool to sell more shafts. They make the money off the shaft not the SYE and the 242 produces a low profit. (I can totally understand this and don't have a problem with it.)
Here is what I was thinking. If anyone in the RI/CT/MA area was in the process of buying a rear shaft then I could by the complete kit and you could buy the shaft from me. Basically you buy the shaft from me for whatever TW gets for a rear shaft but you won't need to pay the shipping. So you're really helping me out. It's only going to save you a few bucks.
