I'm over on the east side of the state. Your only legal wheeling by that area is the Mounds, which is in Mount Morris. Other than that you gotta head a few hours north or west.

I am from Standish & we have several truck trails in Arenac & Gladwin Counties. And Silver Lake is a blast, you will be cleaning sand out for weeks to come. Then there is the hill climbs at Ski Park Drive in the West Branch area. Not to mention the pipe line trails up thru Roscommon Mi.

hmmmmmm looks like you and i may never meet. i happen to be A-section.
also, went to the mounds Sunday for my first real off road experience. it was a BLAST, even tho 2 of the 4 rigs broke. if anyone was out there, i was driving the 2 door charcoal '96 Cherokee w/ '91 AL rims and was muddin' w/ an old jimmy, a lifted ranger, and a wrangler.

also, (to anyone in the area) let me know if you're planning n going again any time soon. I'd be glad to meet you there if i have the time

I live in Brighton and yes as everyone else said the Mounds is the only legal place that isn't a few hours away.
