I know over the last month or so, lots of us have been doing the usual of adding to and improving our rigs.
Seems like there are a few of us that will be debuting our progress at BB in 2 weekends.
This is what i know of..........

Mike got a new cage and......
Nick & Kyung are on 35's
Skwerly got a new locker
Rick got..... well....... all new junk!
Santa......modified the sleigh beyong repair
I went to LA's and added a teralow

Man, the terralow install is really straight forward..... when you get the right parts.
I had a nightmare of a time. First the case was index drilled wrong, so it wouldnt bolt up to the back of the trans. Then i got sent another with the wrong input shaft...... finally i got the right one and it went together.
I have to say the guys at Tera were great in the end and looked after me.
I orginally bought the kit from DC4WD ...... best price i could find. $800 shipped.

Well, my wife's TJ has everything new.... this will be it's maiden voyage!

We are going to try to bring the TJ and the XJ,

The XJ - nothing new. I put the HD tie-rod back on. Oh, it will have new oil and maybe Sliverstar headlights by next weekend....

Yeah its a bit more fun then the XJ :) (personal opinon) Im sereously debating dumping the xj re-build (been about 9 month long project) and selling off the parts for YJ goodies :)

5. new Riddler front diff cover with lube lockers

Lesse. *looks at parts pile in head*

16x8 Champion beadlocks, 5x5.5
Warn 30 spline 5x5.5 hub kit
35 spline arb for the d44
35 spline CrMo shafts for the d44
TNT frame stiffeners
np231 rebuild, with wide chain and 6 roller planetary
AGR steering box ported for hydro assist (may or may not do assist)
R&R my transmission
new transfer case skid
A new lineup of coolers for everything

I havent actually had time to *install* all of this stuff, but its sitting there waiting. I need to get my spare transmission back from Dumptruck and come up with a rear disc brake setup for my 44 still.

I won't be making it to bigbear (again, no time) so I guess I'm not in a time crunch.

WOW.. Looks like Josh has all of us beat..

For me:

1" coil spacers
1" wheel spacers (Which I may take out, I don't like the ride)
New/replacement Banks header
Completely new 2.5" exhaust system with a Magnaflow cat and muffler
Repositioned the radiator to fit the Taurus AND the stock aux fan
(Now I should be able to wheel in the heat with the a/c on :D
New sub woofer
I also did the "Custom SYE" since the last time I wheeled with NAXJA guys.

Plus, I sheared off another wheel stud... :dunce: My XJ doesn't seem to like having all 5 wheel studs at any one time..

That's pretty much it for now.... that's until I can afford a front selectable locker..

What's new? let's see.... got 4:56's F&R, broke and fixed D/S upper control arm, broke P/S upper control arm (gonna fix that tonight), Cut up my hood and installed perforated steel vents, installed stainless brake lines (many thanks to R. Pottenger:)), replaced rear brakes, relocated rear parking brake cable stays 3" rearward, modified a stock thermo housing for increased flow. That's all I can think of right now. Got a pile of parts for pre smog check tune up waiting to be installed, got some 2.5" aluminized tubing and some bends to build a custom downpipe, planning to install APN header and magnaflow cat asap. Got relays and wire for the Taurus fan mod I will do in Sep. I plan to move the radiator as far forward as possible to make room for the fan. Damn I'm gonna be a busy dude!

Ok, being it was will be my B/day on monday my wife and son (xtimmax) pitched in together aand got me a very nice set of seats. I will try to get them installed this week. I also changed my shocks to rancho 9000 adj, and installed a gas tank skid. The newest is a oil leak the size of manhatten so I need to get that fixed this week. The bad part about it was I just changed the rear main and pan gasket. I discovered the leak on the holcomb run this morning. If anyone has some time to give a hand this week now that I am on vacation, I will provide some good suds and BBQ.

Also in reading all the other posts, looks like everyone has been doing alot of work to their junk...
