99 header panel on my MJ

Well got ambitious today and decided to rob the header panel that was on my "Project 1999 XJ" 1990 XJ today and put it on the MJ. I think it turned out great. Now I've just got to figure out what color to paint the whole truck. Let me know what you guys think. I'll take more pics tomorrow in the daylight too.

Hey thanks the dark pics don't really do it justice, but yeah, I've always loved it too. I decided it was worth putting the header panel on the MJ since the back end of it matches the rounded off header panel more. The XJ will get one again too, I just have to dig another one up, they're kind of hard to find still.

With that said however, it does look really good.

And I'm still planning on doing the chrome grill and headlight trim like you did....I really like how it turned out on yours.

Well you know...that's just how I roll. You definitely need to get the chrome on, it does look good. It'd look awesome on yours.

I imagine you're the only one that could see that the grille and bezels are green. The panel itself it actually black. I decided the whole truck is going to be painted white now too.

Here's some daylight pics with a white grille and headlight bezel set I had laying around. I was trying to decide if I like the white or not, and was almost thinking about spraying it that color tonight, but I just like darker colors too much. It may go the same green as my 99 XJ is, I can't decide.
