so i've been looking on ebay alot lately at cj's. i looked at pages and pages of them. for some reason this one really catches my attention. it not anything like the other ones i've seen. it looks like it's been in a time capsule or something. am i wierd, or does anyone else think it's awesome?

edit: i just looked up those ridiculous tires and they don't exist anymore. they stopped making them in the 80's. maybe it was in a time capsule. those smiley face lights are another clue.

I like it! but then again I've had several of the old CJ's and I grew up in that era. Ditching the tires/wheels would bring it up-to-date pretty nicely. I don't know if you have had CJ experiance yet but keep in mind the CJ's do not ride, handle, or are as dependable as our modern Jeeps are. Here is a pic of my last CJ, a 72, 283 Chevy w/ 327 heads, 3 spd, D-30 front, D-44 rear, both locked, D-20 TC.

Looks pimpin'. Just loose the sand tires/wheels, unless of course you live near the dunes, and it should be coolio.

Somebody spent alot of time on that CJ, very nicely done and a good boulevard cruiser for sure. That soft top reminds me of the top I made after I cut the hole in my 59VW's roof and put the rollbar in. It was in hawaii so it worked for there. I wonder if they put in a totaly new wiring harness, thats the only thing I could see that would have issues, peeling wires when they get that old.. otherwise it's a pimpin ride..

I'm not impressed at all, as a matter of fact I feel sorry for that Jeep. It really needs a lift and some MT's of some sort.

You couldnt have said it any better. I've owned two CJ's and one wrangler. They are NOTHING like my MJ. They still were a blast though; I miss them dearly.

I kinda like it. Atleast it's not like most older cj's I've seen...dana 30 & model 20, 44 inch groundhawgs, and 18 chrome plated shocks on each wheel...not to mention the bedpost roll bars that were so popular. I also like the fact that it still has the straight six, although an old buick odd fire v-6 would be nicer...
