Just put my trans back in my jeep. Put a new pump and torque converter in. When I press the gas pedal a ticking sound appears and it get fatser as the throtle is accelerated. Sound like some thing is hiting the torque converter or the fly wheel but what could be hiting. while the vehicle is in park there is no noise. When I pull on an incline and in park the ticking sound appears again. But just idling in park there is no noise Thanks for the help.

Did you remove the flexplate while the tranny was out? If yes then TC bolts or flexplate bolts. Just my experience. You may have to re-remove tranny to find the ticking or call the bomb squad. LOL
