Steering wheel sticky when humid

We recently had a lot of rain and high humidity.
The steering wheel leather gets sticky and soft in one of my Jeeps.
Is there a cure for that? I also had that happen in other cars.
 
stick a salvage steering wheel on it. My trail rig (95) steering wheel cover started to break down and I just tore the wrap off the top 180*.
 
clean your steering wheel. sure humidity will make it wet and not desirable but the built up dirt you have on there from accumulated use is whats getting sticky.
