Nope this is not a cute game. It looks as if the UCI announced recently that one rider in the peleton tested positive for unusually high levels of testosterone. Floyd was scheduled to show for 2 separate events and failed to appear for both of those. Phonak was contacted about this and Floyd has been suspended. His B sample will be evaluated and they'll go from there. I don't think I can handle much more of this. It is unbelievable how much things have changed in the sport of cycling over the past 5 years. Now the questions begin.

Trying to figure out if an effort like he put forth in stage 17 could alter his body hormones in such a way that it would influence test results.

Was he drinking all that water (no one ever holds a bottle in their hand WHILE they ride) in an attempt to dilute a drug?

I am on the edge of my bean bag right now.

Fox News just announced that it was indeed Floyd that tested positive for high levels of testerone.:( :thumbdn:
Have to wait and see what happens now.

I'm hoping it's a bad analysis. If he really was doping, they ought to wrap his bike around his neck. I don't have much faith in the labs - they seem to have had a lot of problems in the past especially with American athletes. Smart move to disappear and let the media move on to something else.

Some of it is legit but some of the BS that goes on is a downright doping witch hunt.

I don't think disappearing is ever a good idear. It just perpetuates the avalanche of questions/accusations.

I'm inclined to believe that the doping testers are quick to find a reason another american won the tour. Didn't they get their peepee's spanked finally when Lance was cleared? When are they going to learn?
