I came across a very good deal on a 99 so my 97 is up for sale
97 Cherokee Country 4.0/AW4/NP231/D30/8.25 146,000 miles
Black w/ grey leather, power everything including D. seat, overhead console, 6 speaker Infiniti system, woodgrain trim
2 in Rocky Road BB, C4X4 front tow hooks, almost new 30 in BFG AT's on TJ canyons, Factory front and T-case skids, rear hitch w/ wiring
Paint is good except for hood which has crows feet and driver door has a scuff and a deep scratch, driver rocker is shot but no other rust
Over the past year its had a complete new cooling system with water pump and all hoses including the tranny cooler lines as well as a new power steering pump and lines and 4 new shocks and bushings in the front when the BB was put in, muffler and tailpipe are newer
After driving it for a while something starts dripping on the exhaust causing it to smoke, transmission also sometimes takes a second to engage in R and D and also will sometimes drop out of drive when slowing down/stopping, tap the gas and it goes back in and otherwise shifts perfect, Doesn't drip anything overnight and gave me 0 problems all winter, all started on the first day it got into the high 80's around here
These two things could be related or it could be oil leaking, might just need a fluid filter change on the transmission and a new seal or gasket somewhere, might not
Front washer doesn't work
Right blinker doesn't cancel
Part-time light in dash doesn't light up
CD player reads ERR when its cold but eventually works fine
Brakes soft but make no noises and don't pulsate
It's not perfect but overall it's a very capable Jeep that just needs a little work and since I work 60+ hours a week and have no space I can't do it
Price is $3000 for everything pictured but the shovels and the husky liners
$2200 w/o the wheels/tires and roof rack or mix and match somewhere in between that
