How do i know if i have it? Should it be on the build sheet?

Everybody should have a copy of their vehicle's build sheet, which can easily be obtained by talking to the guy at the Jeep dealer's parts counter. Just give them your Jeep's VIN number, and they'll print out the sheet which shows everything it came from the factory with.

i have the buld sheet but all it mentions on the axles is this.
DMMP 3.07 Axle Ratio
DRAS Corporate 8.25 Rear Axle
I guess i have the regular open diff, not the trac-lok

on my rear 8.25, there was a sticker on the axle near the passenger end that said trakloc

Or you could always just pop the diff cover and peek inside .
