My neighbor has 2 xj's for sale. Here are the details.

First one is a 1989 4.0 4X4 4 door white in color, factory alum wheels. Body looks good and everything is intact. $1000 OBO

The second one is a 1988 4.0 4X4 4 door red in color. There is some body damage and the front windshield is broken. He has the doors and fenders to fix the damage, not sure about the windshield. $400

I will get mileage and pics this weekend and post them after I get them.

Next question, do they have current registration??

yes victor valley. I'm not sure about the registration and all that. My dad (leep) is going over there sat. to get a detailed look at everything. I've seen them driving the white '89 so I know it runs. The red 88' though is just another one he told us about but is in wrightwood and not at his house right no so we have not seen that one.

The 89 has current reg and smog form what I was told. I will have all the details for both tomorrow.

pretty sure they are autos.

He is pretty sure they are autos. If I hit him in the nuts I am pretty sure it would hurt, or I would assume it would hurt.

Ok, I have some details on the 88. I also have some pics that I will post later.

It is a 1988 and Maroon in color. It is an auto 4.0 4X4, 231 TC. It does need the doors replaced but he has the doors and a front windshield. It is a 4 door. He sed it runs but he did not start it for me. It does need cleaning. The front is a D30 and the rear is a 35. It has 175k on the ticker.

It is rough but in my opinion is does have potential for a good trail rig. If I had the 400 he wants for it avail I would snap it up.

Suggest that he part it out and that you already have a buyer for the 231.

I asked him that and he does not want to deal with parts and then scrap the rest. Just wants it gone.

Man robert, you got them eyes. Good call. He does have a crapload of stuff there for sell, but the camaro he is keeping.
