Axle Universal Joint Install

Im going to be installing the axle universal joints on my 98 this weekend, are there any special tools I should get or anything important that I should know before doing it?

A torch to cut the old one(s) out and save yourself some hassle.

When I changed mine (98 xj sport) i bought the new joints from local autoparts store. they were undersized. So I had to go back and get the full size joints. Kinda stupid because how was I to know in the first place, and secondly, how was I to drive a jeep with the front axleshaft out ....

so anyway, make sure you've got the right joint if you don't have a spare vehicle or nearby store.

That's a great link! I am faced with doing my u-joints soon and this is a really good tutorial. I will have to get one of thos u-joint presses. Pretty cool.
