Had an odd deal last week (on another forum) last week where a well thought of member's "family member" posted up that the member had killed himself. (with reasons, & follow ups to the 'services' & all.)

Needless to say it brought out a bunch of flailing & grieving & shoulda, coulda wouldas & wishing it weren't so. (in case you've never heard lumberjack friends grieving, it aint 'atall pretty) Thankfully it turned out to be a hoax...perpetration of an ongoing bad split-up & divorce.

Yesterday I caught a call from a brother who, while not in that dire a straits, needed a friend to talk to. I am so glad I caught the call! Sometimes an ear is important!

We are who we are, and we owe it to our bro's & sis's to help each other keep things on an even keel. Don't shuck them off! If they call, it maybe to BS, but it may be the last straw between them and some far flung Armageddon.

Man, what great advice. It's too easy to be "not in the mood" for family/friends. Next thing you know though, it's too late to say the cool stuff because they are gone. Remember, this life is short, and there is no guarantee just HOW short, please try and have no regrets. You'll thank yourself.
