replacing auto with standard

i have a 92 4.0L auto recently the transmission went and i picked up a complete 5 speed commanche 2wd. i am wondering what i am gonna need to change to bolt up the 2wd 5 speed up to my transfer case.

Replace the main shaft and tail housing, to start.

so in other words im alot better off finding a 4x4 5speed?

Yup, since replacing the tailhousing and output shaft is almost as much work as a full rebuild.
