YJ ax15 into a 2000 xj?

I have a friend with a with a 94 YJ that wants to trand trannies. I know the stuff that will go into the swap from his but what will he need from mine as far as electricals? I plan to do the swap next weekend and would like it to go as smooth as possible. He claims to have a 23 spline output with an atlas behind it. Mine should be 23 right? So in theory it should bolt up to the 231 with no problem right? I know this has been covered but I looked for a thread for wrangler to xj swap and came up with nothing. Also will the pedals work with mine or will I need to find the pedals out of an XJ? Any other info will help thanks, Micah.

why do you want to trade trannies?

I just like a manual. It's not looking as though its going to happen though.
