Has anyone used the Novak adapter that mates a 4.0 to a TH350. I recently aquired another XJ and thought it would be a great host for some GM full widths and the 203/205 doubler i've been sitting on. The rig will be a SUPER budget, of road only rig, so major cutting and welding are no problem
Why not go with the TH700R4 and take advantage of the overdrive???

I guessing the fact that it's an off-road only rig.
I don't know anything about the kit, but I've had trucks with the transmission and loved it. Just like the 350: Common, cheap, and strong.

X2.
The first gear ratio of the 700R4 is better though, 3.06 compaired to 2.52 of the TH350.
I believe this is the kit you are looking for. From Advance Adapters (AA).
