31s on a 6 inch lift?

I found some 31x 10.5 x 15 for a steal and I was wondering what the consensus would be if I was to put them on a 6 inch lift?

well your COG would be way too high... that being said, i did it and it didn't look as dumb as a thought. it was only temporary till i threw some 35's on.

35's are planned for the future. Im just curious about the dumb factor, thanks.

i was rolling around with 31's and 4.56 gears and it rocked. i say do it!

My fenders are but but my 33s look small with a 6". 31s would look like temp spares

Might as well just lift it and keep the stockers on.. Can't you fit 31s with no lift?

actually...your COG might even out considering the extra 2" of sidewall vs. the extra weight of the 35"s


i run 5" and 31"s and it looks just fine IMO. I run mostly desert type stuff and there's no need for the larger tires IMO

It couldn't look any worse than my 30's and 4.5" lift! Its your Jeep man, Do whatever you wan't with it and enjoy it!

Here is my XJ with 6" on 31's with trimmed fenders.

Here is it with 33's.

I just put on a rustys 4.5 kit and run 31"s on 15x10"s and I am trimmin fender back also, but I like the high stance and fat tire look.
