TJ/XJ control arm question

hey,
My XJ has the Rusty's 3" lift which uses the stock LCAs...a friend of mine has a set of aftermarket LCAs for a TJ with 4" lift. Will these work for my setup, or do I need more lift??

What aftermarket lca's are they? If you get that info you can just contact the company to find out compatibility, or you could just try and through them on and go from there.

yeah i'm going to try them, just figured i'd ask if anyone knew for sure either way so if it absolutely won't work i wouldn't waste my time...

Go to rustys site and see what the range is on those arms, if you have 3 and your buddy has 4 they should work, if I remember correctly most of those adjustable ones go from 2" to 6" that provided they are adjustable, rusty sells fixed ones too so I would check.

they are fixed, non adjustable arms...not sure on the manufacturer
