I have been going to Reiter for years. Open/Open most of it and Locked/Locked more recently.

I can assure you that you will want to be locked to try to keep up with Karl. Not saying it can't be done unlocked. But those trails would require a significant amount of winching to make unlocked.

And this is coming from someone who believes Lockers are overrated!!

The last two time I've been there I didn't find a trail that I couldn't make. Othere than the rock garden. Is there ever runs up there that you can learn where the trail are and how difficult they are.

What trails did you end up running. I don't recognize all of them from the photos, but they change so often it is hard to tell?

Ran BYS first. Cody and I gor there late and had to fix his brakes before we hit the trail. So we drove up to the wall and watched everyone run the trail.

No big issues except for nuzzy snapping his winch rope and Kyle MUNCHED his fender on his TJ real bad. After BYS we ran down to the rock garden and played for a while. I debeaded a tire and Matt broke his front driveline in two pieces. After getting Matt off the trail we were tired and dirty so we headed off to Bubbas for some beers. The rest of the group went out and ran sac-up real quick before heading home.

It was an AWESOME day wheeling. Those that didn't come really missed out.

It happens more often than one would think. They bend right back though.

Yessir. I used to have my hi-lift mounted to my rear bumper too.

Now it rides in the jeep with me. I welded tabs to the cage and it is held on with wing nuts.

They are not new they have been there all along. Us XJ guys (well most of us) just don't have to worry about them due to lack of cage on our rigs
