Gurgling Sound from Gas Tank Area?

Hi, everyone. I have a 97 XJ, 4.0L linked to an ax15, 155,448 on the odo, and when i shut off the engine there is a gurgling sound coming from the back of the jeep, from the gas tank area. it started doing this recently after i filled up at the gas station. It will go away in a minute or so after I shut the engine off. I dont think it is anything serious, but i wanted to get your opinions on what could be causing this.

Its just gas sloshing around in the tank.

Thats kinda what i figured, but i wanted to make sure my that my fuel pump or something is not going south.

it is also proabaly just gas going back into the tank from the return on the pump, nothing i would be worried about.

I have heard that since i have owned my 97 xj just like yours with a little less miles, and have never had a problem from it.

It's normal on the 97+. There is a TSB on it, so you could get it fixed.
