Hey gang,

I finally got to wheel Deep Creek (Dishpan Springs). Though it has changed alot over the years, I truly enjoyed the entire trail. Unfortunately, the lightening and rain did not allow for me to take as many pictures as I wanted, but there are a few in the link below.

We also ran Holcomb Creek (West to East). Holcomb has also changed ans extremely fun in the rain. We may have set a speed record going the opening rock garden - less than 7 minutes! Rollins lead the way!

You will notice a couple of familar folks MJR, Andy S (Purple Chrome), and Michael Palmer (zjmikey).

Only a couple of minor issues, bent rim (Palmer), broken shock (bad welds) (Andy). There were a couple of other tire issues with a TJ and an LJ.
I am going to be planning a Big Bear trip in Sept or October (not to interfere with Moab).

Enjoy the few pics...

Did Mikey 'steam' his engine on the long water crossing? :D
Last time we bombed the crossing there was so much steam coming from
under his hood it killed the engine....
Looks like it was a blast!

The crossing was a little deeper due to the rain, but his engine stayed running.

I think someone has me confused with some one else.

I have NEVER stalled my engine in anytype of water EVER...

my intake is way too high up to get water in it unless it was windshield high..

No prob Joe. Keep an eye on the post as I will be planning a Big Bear run in the near future. Probably run Deep Creek and John Bull or Holcomb Creek again. Makes for a great day!

Hmmm....:dunno:
So it wasn't you at Big Bear?
I believe it was steam that choked the engine, not water intake...
