Buy certain cars. I had to go to philly today and made a quick stop at a turnpike gas station. While the wife was occupied I was waiting outside. This really beautiful porsche 911 carrera 4 S cabriolet pulled in, soft top up, still had temp plates, door opens and all I see is blue as this guy starts struggling to get out, took a full 90 seconds by my watch before this ~5'4" 500lb dude manages to get out, he walks around to get gas [front passenger fender] and about that time a surburban pulls in and blocks my view. Guy get out of the sub and starts to walk around and freezes so I got out, this guy is trying to squeeze back in and the entire lot is frozen in time, stopped cars, stopped tractor trailers, stopped tour busses, as about 200 people stop and stare. I swear I heard a POP when his ass got in the seat and his belly cleared the steering wheel. Don't people realize that there are some cars you just don't fit, besides if he spent $100K on that you figure he could have spent another $10K or so on liposuction.. the one $#%$* time I coulda shot a 'classic' with my cell phone and I forgot the damn thing, it was in my jeep and we were using my wifes car...

Ha I am about 6'3" and once I drove a Miata... We had to put the top down for me to fit and I couldn't come off the clutch with out hitting my knee on the steering wheel. But it was fun the one and only time I will get in one.

I'm 6'4"...and i had to drive one of those tiny little Daewoo things (not much bigger than a go-kart). No, i'm not talking about anything they import to the states...it's a little $hitbox they have overseas. That definately sucked.

I am only 5'8" but feel way too tall for my 4-door XJ... dang B pillar right where my head is...
I suppose if I reclined the seat back it may get better, but I like the seatback set as vertical as I can get it, and have my arms as straight as possible.
Damn frenchie midget designers I tell ya.

Sounds like something I saw on my way to work a couple of weeks ago, I noticed an old n/a 300ZX with some kind of oddball exhaust on it that looked, but didn't sound like straight pipes. As I got closer I noticed a strange looking red dome sticking through the t-tops, then as I got closer still I saw some gray mixed in with the red. I finally got close enough to see it was the top of his balding, graying, sunburnt head that was sticking through the open t-top! I had just gotten my new camera phone, but there wasn't a single red light I could get a good pic at.

Geez - aren't YOU a little guy!
At 6'3", I don't have any trouble with any of my XJ's, save with the sunroof in my 88. I'll be glad to be quit of that thing later this summer, now that I can get a rof panel to replace the thing with...
