89 XJ, on the way back from the beach my gas gauge kept pegging out way past full. When it did the motor startd to spit & spudder. When the gauge went back to normal gas level the motor ran fine. This did this for about 70 miles, and I did make it home only dying one time onthe freeway. What can I look for???:sure:
