momma's new toy......

....toy-ota to be exact. Mom has been driving a pos suburban for longer then i can remember (and i've been fixing it for that time too) and told me to find her something sporty. so i came back with this, a 1988 turbo 5-speed toyota supra coupe with 99,000 miles 7mgte motor, near perfect exerior as well. 2 owner car with every option offered back in 88, the original window sticker (still in the glovebox!) said this car retailed for 28,000 dollars in 88. picked this gem up for 4,000. she loves the car and wants me to work on it for her, so i have a turbo to tinker with and she has the car that shes dreamed about for years, its a win win.

Does it use a timing belt ? If so has it ever been changed, if it's an interference motor it would be a good first thing to do...
