I picked up rear brake calipers from an '01 WJ a couple of weeks ago. They came from a non-c clip dana 35, these are bigger than the ZJ brakes thats why I would like to use them (and I already have these pieces). I have measured the holes on the mounting brackets for the calipers and it in no way matches the mounting brackets on my '97 8.25. I was hoping to find someone around Raleigh NC that would be able to help me complete this task or teach me about cutting and welding on axle tubes. I can get or make all the necessary parts, but I am clueless about welding on axles, most of the welding I have done heat warppage is not an issue. Any input would be great...
Thanks,
JT
