Update on my TNT Customs situation.

Well as of this morning May 24th 2007 I have my refund that I was told I would have 3 weeks ago. For those of you that dont know what is going on, please read this whole thread (minus the shoe crap)
http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=919323

I will have the sliders for UPS pickup if that is what Bob wishes, otherwise on May 31st I will donate them to the Northeast Association of 4WD Clubs Access-4-All Program (http://www.nea4wd.org/articles/index.cfm?fact=detail&ARTICLE_ID=212)

I was never here to bash Bob or his business, just to get my problem resolved. Which it did. I am happy to have my money back.

Derek

Wow, NAXJA showing its true colors again in this thread...

Derek I am glad to see it got resolved, sucks it had to go this far, and glad such a good organization is at least benefiting from the entire mess

I currently wear some old addidas sl3's that i took from my friend cause the sole literally came off my old shoes at the drag strip. every morning i wake up my feet hurt. im guessing its the shoes, cause ive been walking for close to 20 years now and they never hurt like this before. anyone know any plain comfortable everyday shoes for around 50-60 bones?

If you hate it so much here why the hell do you stick around?

I never could wear Addidas or Nike. My feet are size 14, flat and wiiiiide and those fancy styles are too narrow. My shoes most commonly fail along the inside right where the upper meets the sole. Finding a pair of 14s that are wide and square with a good insole for under $50 is dang near impossible.

I guess I should not tell him I used a set of the stiffeners on an MJ should I,

yes they took a little fabbing to get them to work. but still easier than making them from scratch

cut a little for the cross member. notched to bend with the frame and cut the angle off the last foot where the frame squares off

I guess that was already discussed with Bob since he said they needed trimmed.

At first I was just funnin' ya' about your user name. I mean, if flava fav is your idol...well..whatever.

Two points about this whole exchange.

First: NAXJA is not the Better Business Bureau. You got a beef with a vendor, deal with it. It is not our job to solve your retail issues. You say you did not come onto NAXJA to flame TnT, but you did flame TnT. Whether you feel it was flaming or not, the actual fact is that your first post was a flame of TnT. Whether TnT deserves flaming or not, I do not pay my dues to provide the general public with a venue for vendor flaming, although there is a good deal of it, by users and members alike. In general I find it all very boring (until we finally got around to a fairly informative discussion of shoes).

Second: The owner of TnT did respond, as you had hoped. I find it peculular, however, that your comments posted after his response exhibited a startling lack of comprehension of the content of his response. This leads me to believe that when you talked to him on the phone (however hard it may have been to get him on the phone) it is likely, in my opinion, that you probably came away from those conversations with little comprehension of the content of those conversations. Therefore, as a member of the NAXJA jury in this case, since you seem to be seeking our judgement on your complaint against TnT, I find I must side with TnT.

Third: ...no, wait. There was only two points...yeah, I'm done. Take care.

I like the New balance shoes cause the come in wide sizes. The only problem is they wear out to fast. I have a set of pumas now that are nice and comfy. they seem to be wearing good too.

I'm not a big fan of shoes.

I wear jesus sandals when the weather permits.

If I have to wear shoes, I either wear those $10 slip ons from wal-mart, or my work boots.

i'm not big on shoes myself. Bates enforcers are my preffered footwear. sand brown, the best.
