Nice Pics! Widowmaker is a hard trail. I think I also saw some pics of you coming up 'Slider'. I spent 2 hours trying to make it up with no luck. It looks like you all did fine. I cannot wait to get out there this year.
Next ride is .... whenever anybody makes it out/down here. There are more pix. running around and more to be posted of what these boys missed as soon as I can get them sorted/compiled. Look for the thread in the MWC "This past weekend"

Where are those trails at? I go to slade all the time to backpack but dont wheel with anyone that knows where the trail heads are.
We don't go through Slade. We go in through Bowen. As for the Widowmaker, it is one of those "so obvious that you don't see it" trail heads. When are you coming back down here? I don't mind playing guide for people.

We come down once a month i would say. Maybe coming down on the weekend of June 15th-17th. i need to get my freeze out plug on the back of the head fixed first. damn thing had a hole rust thru it and now it leaks coolant like crazy.

big thanks to GeneMJ for the handywork on the camera.
on the rack, i had a write up at one time. it seems that it got erased in one of the website revamps/downtimes/whatever.
if you want to know anything specific, ask away.

Here are directions to the natural bridge trail head located in Slade KY (for anyone who didn't know). There is an awesome place to camp where these directions lead you. Remember that the white rail C.O.R.E speaks about is very noticable, so do not turn until you see a very noticable white, cylindrical, gaurd rail going up a hill.
