hey guys
here is the deal im looking to get a hp60 for the front, and i know that the 78-79 are ideal but with the later kingpin 60's is it possible to fit a coil bucket on even though it is 2in shorter. also what did yall do as far as trackbar placement.
thanks
harris

you can use the newer 60s but you have to shorten them on the pass side because it wont line up full width becasue the drivers side is too short and the pumpkin wont be centered. I would look on pirate for more pictures showing some of the mounts people have done to make it work.

You don't "have" to shorten them. If you get creative with a truss you can mount the coils where they need to be. They will be several inches above the axle tube though so you might have to get shorter coils or gain some lift. Also not having the pumpkin centered is not a big deal either. The driveline can handle some ammount of missalignment.
