RE Leafs

I bought a set of 4.5" RE leaves that are in great shape other than the fact that one of the small bushings needs to be replaced. Now I obviously know to order one from the RE site, but do these needs to be pressed in or is it something I can do with some lubricant?

I belive you can do this yourself with either a press (which i think you dont have) or using a large C clamp and a peice of flat bar and some skill

You can actually "pry" open the spring eye a little by tapping a flat chisel in between the spring eye and the leaf. It will open up enough to allow you to press (hammer) the bushing out and get a new one in. Did this on an RE spring a few years ago with good results.
