Check your expansion valve.

I'd put a pile of shrimps and hot dip on top. Position it so the women have to bend over and show a little cleavage to try the buffet. Two birds with one stone. Climate control and entertainment all in one package. Yes I already know I'm a chauvinist pig.

Thermostat wars are so entertaining :D
I used to sit at a desk that was next to the thermostat that controlled the common area where my cubie was, plus three rooms off the common area. The occupants of the three rooms all wanted different temperatures. The volume of foot traffic leading to that thermostat was impressive. My story was always the same: "I do not touch the thermostat! I refuse to be sucked into your petty thermostat war!"
Now I got my own thermostat, but everybody keeps leaving the doors open :laugh2:

I keep seeing swamp coolers for sale down here, in Southeast Texas :D Swamp coolers work by evaporation. Try getting anything to evaporate when the dew point is 2 degrees below the current temperature. They worked great when I was in Idaho - not so well here. All they do is grow mold.
