There is no stopping this problem. (This doesn't mean we shouldn't try, but I feel it's inevitable that most people are not interested enough and we'll lose this "war on illegal aliens")

1) The world is a wicked place. Get used to it.

2) People are stupid and generally selfish. Oh they may seem nice, but as a whole, the human race is a stain on the face of the earth. Very few people are actually good people and have any intention of following the law.

3) This country was the closest thing to a utopia this world has known and we've already managed to destroy it in less than one half millenia.

4) Mexico is better than Europe. At least Mexicans work hard, save their money, and care about their families. At least Mexicans want to work to change their situations (most of them anyway). Something most Americans (and especially most Europeans I've met) don't do (we just go to school half our lives and pretend we're working just because we sit behind a desk or dig a few ditches here and there). The best workers I've ever met were Mexicans. They can frame houses for a week straight, sleep 4 hours, and do it again and again. I've seen them, they did it and it's common among their culture to work ones' self to death trying to help their families get ahead.

5) I understand we need to secure our borders, but frankly, there aren't enough people in the entire USA with enough motivation to even build a wall, much less secure that wall.

6) We really have become (Western society) the laziest, most materialistic, and savage people. The only people in the USA (or the rest of the Western world) that have a right to complain in my opinion are those who are or were on the frontlines and risked their necks to defend this nation. I'm not one of them (even though I tried to become one), but I wish I could turn back the years and die for my country or at least try to die for it. :patriot:

I don't have anything against Mexicans. They are hard workers, don't complain, etc.....that's alot more than can be said of some of the legal Americans that live in the US and A. Besides, some of the Latinas are particulary sexy....that's another story.

One thing I don't like is that alot of the illegals are receiving free healthcare that American taxpayer's pay for.

I was in Europe last summer. What a disapointment. Yea 800 year old stuff is cool for a while and the food was good but the people were not a happy go lucky motivated group at all. I could rant about how horrible the people are but just trust that if you are a people person you will be disapointed. One thing that they all flat out blow Americans away at is driving skills. OMG they wip down mountain roads like a road racer and the motorcycles they drive are 250cc dirt bikes with road tires. Motard is what they are called. We say super moto. The do it on the street for normal driving. Bad to the bone and even the chicks and old folks. I met a couple of cool dudes hanging out next to their Daimler Crysler Smart car. It was one of thousands and I asked about it and the funny thing was they called them a Dodge. It's just a nickname they use. I summed up the only decent parts of the whole trip. The rest sucked. You will here different from folks that droped a lot of cash for a vacation to Europe but my wife got a free trip for being a quest speaker and I tagged along with frequent flyer miles so it's easy to be unbiased when it was cheap. God bless the USA has a whole new meaning now despite her problems.

Serious discussion, OK! I really have no or little say in who my neighbors are. Frankly I give them the benefit of the doubt in most cases, on a case by case basis. If I did choose them, it would likely have little to do with there race or even there immigration status.
Don't really care if they are movie star material or butt ugly.
Just like I judge a person by there actions and not there words in most cases. I try and look for the positives instead if the negatives.

As far as illegal immigration, we have had the solution for quite some time, its called acquiring citizenship. If it were enforced, it would work.

Things are so ass backwards with America. I've been trying for some time now to sum up my thoughts on America as it is today, but there is so much that is going wrong and I'm so frustrated and disappointed that I don't think my brain could even begin to figure out where we are. We send our sons, daughters, fathers, and mothers to die for freedom while we give all of those freedoms away back home. Between legal immigration, gun rights, freedom of speech, and so many other rights that have been raped or stolen from us, I'm not so sure there is even a need for a Constitution where we are going. And we get so angry that we are in a shit hole and that it seems that we can only afford to go to work to get money so we can get gas so we can go to work the next day. It's all so wrong you can't believe it's real.

But who's to blame? All of us. The whole system has failed clear from the highest seats in our government down to you and me. I know that there are those who vote like its a religion and there are those few Patriots among us who are holding on to whats left, but America as a whole is just giving up. People don't vote and take part in our government so we have people step in to tell us whats best for us. And the folks on both sides of the aisle can't seem to put the country before themselves. Not enough people have that balls to actually do something. Still, we sit back and let it happen, and make few mentions of what we as Americans are required to do during times like these with officials that are so inferior. I'm almost afraid to have kids because I don't want them to have to go through the terrible times we very well may face.

Last summer in a few moths a dozen major cities had rallys in each city with hundreds of thousands of illegals, attending rallys ON WORK DAYS. Many stories made the news wire of shops telling guys, there is a deadline for this work , if you call in to go to a rally your fired. Of course these self intitled ILLEGALS sued. LOL illegals trying to use our court system and they are not even supposed to be here. I think any such actions should get them about 10 years in prison (thats mexicos sentence for hondurans who want to do jobs mexicans wont do). WHAT NERVE!

And It DID make an impact. You don't have to be a citizen to have the same rights in this country as citizens do. If I'm an Illigal and a US citizen screws me over in one way or another i shouldn't sue if i can? If a CITIZEN tried to murder me I shouldn't have the right to press charges because i'm an "illigal"? Should I not have the same rights as every other person/human in the country? The court system is shit anyways. heres some math for you. the average person on well fare takes in 13- 15 grand per year and only pays sales tax if they are in a state with sales tax. They then get all sorts of food stamps, subsidized housing, extra this special that. Now add in illeals who drive down wages and reduce taxable income. Many industries the wages are halfed by illegals. Thats billions of dollars in tax money just on income tax in certain industries.

next thanks to our effecient government to the best of my research the adminsitraive costs per $15,000 well fare recipient is acutally like 40 grand or more. It costs more to monitar and administer aide than we actually give them.

Next illegals for the most part still live in a middle ages state of mind where a man is measured by how many kids he can have and thinks he needs 10 bratz to work the farm even though he is in the barrio and on well far "he needs" ten kids. Next no one is paying taxes. None its a huge net loss when a simple hospital trip can cost $5,000 and you not paying a bit of taxes. Your not insuring your car. Tens of thousands of people get in accidents with illegals and each accident costs the honest american thousands in insurance. Then my rates go up. Illegals and immigrants as a whole live in poor areas and represent a significanlty higher % of crimes commited per capita. Basically everything they do and touch costs us $,day in and day out they are costing us money. They dont contribute to anything but lower wages and they tax like a swarm of locusts. How much do you think it costs to house a prisoner in jail per year? Depending on jail and state it can be $40,000 or more.

heres some math for you. the average person on well fare takes in 13- 15 grand per year and only pays sales tax if they are in a state with sales tax. They then get all sorts of food stamps, subsidized housing, extra this special that. Now add in illeals who drive down wages and reduce taxable income. Many industries the wages are halfed by illegals. Thats billions of dollars in tax money just on income tax in certain industries.

next thanks to our effecient government to the best of my research the adminsitraive costs per $15,000 well fare recipient is acutally like 40 grand or more. It costs more to monitar and administer aide than we actually give them.

As for what they are NOT paying, probably FICA, SS, State income, property tax, school tax [$4,000 per family in my town, it's a seperate tax from property], local earned income tax, 2%, pays the town road crews and plow drivers. We have a fairly hefty illegal population here, wifes a K-6 teacher, she knows. The tree farmers, alot of landscape stuff for NJ and NY comes out of here, it's big business for this area, use illegals out of peru and bolivia, we know when ICE is in the area as their homes they rent are deserted for a week or two. Best guess as to the percentage of illegals kids that are in the k-6 system, 30%. Wife has a tough time every now and then with the older ones because she does not speak spanish and they don't speak english vs the eastern european kids that are multilingual by 1st grade and are americanizing amazingly fast.
For SSA the illegals using illegal SSN's pay the feds over $13 billion a year that SSA puts into the general fund not the SS fund so thats $13 BILLION a year of found money they didn't have to do anything for.
The part that ticked me off, we had to build 4 new schools and my school taxes went from $500 a year $4230 a year. Our student population exploded but our tax roles stayed the same, that sucks when 20% of the people who moved here did so illegally, use schools I paid for, and pay nothing. Even the schools are not allowed to ask for proof of citizenship. They also have an underground cash economy going, I see alot of stuff being sold off the backs of trucks, mostly with NJ and NY plates so even their money is not going into the local economy. My take, you are either with us or against us, you want all this for free go get it where you came from, quite mooching off of me, I'm having a tough enough time without some illegal vampires bleeding the system.

RichP, I here you on the whole school/tax thing. A few years back when my son started kintergarden, we were given a list of basics that he would be required to know before attending. Just basics, like his ABC's, & how to count, etc. If he did not know these it was up to us to teach him first. It really kind of burned me that other kids that clearly did not know these things, (at least in the language that our school teaches) were allowed to attend. Funny my family goes back to the mid 1800 in California, before that north central Texas. I live in Germany now and somebody else is benefiting from my labors in California. And I'm benefiting from a thousand years of their labors here in Germany. California was a pretty nice place till all the Easterners moved in and took over. I remember our property taxes and State taxes doubling to pay for the Feather river project (more water) so somebody could build more houses and more people could immigrate. I guess we had to pay for the privilege of being screwed.
How many people live within say, the same town they were born in, the same county, even the same state. I guess all of them are guilty of ripping off the efforts of others.

Do you actually have any numbers to demonstrate what percentage of the illegal population abuse the system?

Most illegals work their asses off in order to survive and most of them are too scared to request govt assistance for fear of getting busted.

There's millions of hard working illegals here in this country that you guys may not notice because they are hard working, buy houses, pay taxes, have car insurance and don't hang out in front of Home Depot.

Like any group of people, It's easier to notice the bad apples than the good ones.

As far as abusing the system...

I know all about the soviet union, my uncle has been back and forth since the USSR failed for business inthe logging business among other things. Funny you should bring up Africa, there is a Portuguese enclave in Northern Africa (much like Guantanamo Bay). Double twenty foot fences with watch towers. The Africans from as far away as central Africa, storm the fences about twice a week and actually make it. I doubt a mine field would keep them out.
In Russia your biggest worry is organized crime or Mad Max type road thieves.

Russia is neat, east of Moscow they have a swamp about the size of a small state. I spent a week camping in the biggest swamp buggy you've ever seen. Thing was huge, good times.
I stayed in Germany because I got a girl pregnant and decided to do the right thing. Instead of running back to the States. I thought about bringing her back to Cal. with me and decided there were just too many ignorant bucks, that would judge her by her accent and likely ostracize her from the community. I'm a bit more adaptable than she is. I wanted the marriage to last long enough to raise my kids to adulthood. Other than a few ignorant bucks here in Germany, the Germans have been pretty darned nice to me. At the very least, likely more tolerant than your average Joe citizen in the USA would be of them, if the positions were reversed.
Considering I went from an occupier to a member of the community, should tell you something. One of my best friends spent a year in a POW camp in Mississippi picking cotton. Funny as heck, most of my sponsors (the guys that keep the racists bucks off my back) are the old Waffen SS troops and some of the people I respect the most are stone Communists. Necessity breads strange bed fellows, good citizens come in all sizes and shapes.
Funny for the first time in like ten years, I was recently asked for my paperwork. Told the cop I didn't have it with me, he said you know we could deport you. My answer was really, OK, my wife sucks, I'll take a free ride back home and you can look out after my kids, they don't listen to me anyway. The he says I should call him Sir, I said he should call me Sir as I was here when he was born and in all likelihood I could be his father. Doesn't sound much like immigration security to me, just some very small people trying to dominate another person. Me big chief, you immigrant.
Another German says, they ought to run all the immigrants out of Germany, I said, but then what would you do for children.
One of the reasons I've lasted so long here is I've kept my roots in tact and have never gone totally native. And I'm entertainment for the gossip mill.

I've said it before... The answer is for the US to take over Mexico & make it another state. Send the military down to throw out their corrupt Gov. & military. Let the people of Mexico take over & turn the country into the place it should be. Until their own country is turned around you'll always have the desperate fleeing for the hopes of prosperity. I'd do the same if I were in their shoes. In the end, what would you have to lose, get deported? At least they tried for a better life. No matter how tall the fense is or how many boarder patrol we put down there, there will still be a flow of illeagals. We're trying to cure a symptom without regaurds of the disease. It's time we start treating the disease... Besides, I still want to buy that agave ranch out side of Cabo...
