Another AC question

Anybody help out here,I had my refrigerant level checked and was fine,If I turn my AC button on inside the fan will run but the clutch will not engage,Ihave tried jumping the wires, fan will come on but no clutch.What may be bad??is it possibly low on refrigerant and the Advance cheap guage was wrong,maybe a relay,maybe more,help please.98 4.0

Are you getting battery power to the clutch?

Well, changed ac clutch relay today and it took about 15 minutes of driving around but Ive got semi-cold air,I dont think it is cold enough though,Id say about 75% where it should be.It was warm for the first 5 minutes and gradualyy got cooler,Will it eventually get ICE cold ?Maybe?

If the relay made the clutch enguage, that was the problem. To get ice cold a/c you have to have the proper charge, and a leak free system.
