2x4 to 4x4

i have a 2000 xj and its 2wd. i was just wondering if it was possible to convert it to 4x4. and if so how would i do that.

yes it's possible. the main things you will need are a 4wd transmission with t-case, a front axle, and both driveshafts. there will also be some linkages and such to swap. consider selling yours and buying a 4wd, it may be more cost effective.
