2 questions

Q1
When I turn my wipers on, they are always on the fastest speed even if I put it on the slowest speed. After a few muinutes, they'll go to the speed I put it on.

Q2
When I turn my air or vent on, it only comes out the defroster and not the vents.

Q2.. vac leak

Q2, vac problem, vac switch bad, or trash stuck the damper door and vac switch cannot move the damper door.

Q1, could be a problem with the electronic wiper timer, little black box under the dash with velcro holding it in place. Left of the steering column near your knees just behind the lowest dash cover part thingy on mine. about 2" x 2" by 5" long, all black, black box.

Q2 - Trace the vac lines FROM the vac canister under the battery. Usually that's where the broken, corroded lines will be. Fix that and Q2 is a thing of the past.
