Me and some buddies are headed to Uwharrie next friday and we are form greensboro/High point area in North Carolina and was wondering the fastest way to get there? is going through Denton, NC the fastest way?

I think south on NC109 would be the most 'direct' but heading south down 220 to Asheboro, west (south?) on 49 then turn left on 109 may be 'quicker'

Probably depends a lot on which side of Greensboro you are on...
