Here's a pic of my non jeep DD, It's a 97' Landrover defender 90 and it has a 2inch lift and some trick suspension parts to give it a lot of flex out back. The tires are 265/75/r16' but you can run about a true 34' without rubbing.http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e303/TN-LR3/IMG_1360.jpg
Some how in this picture I look really weird

Just out of curiosity how much do those sell for (used)? the truck looks nice and clean and seems to be a nice performer. I would like to see some more pics of the rear suspension.

Defenders? $20K - $40K and the newest you can find in the USA is 1997 or so. They did not update them to the newer crash standards after that and were not allowed to be imported. I personally love the 110's. When I was looking at buying one in 95 I realized it was not going to happen when the dealer told me that there were less then 1K imported the year before.

they can range from 18k- 50k, depends all on condition and the year. Mine had 16k miles when I bought it 8 months ago. The rear suspension is coils with spring cones that make the spring go back on it's perch when coming back down. I'll get some more pics later

They brought them in 94,95, and 97. The 94's and 95's have 5spd's and the 97 has an auto. They brought about 2000 soft tops in in 97 and i believe the same for all the other years. You can also get a hard top and each defender comes with a plate on the back that shows the production number of the very limted amount imported.

hell with that... sure there is money in Aero. but id like to be wealthy, not house rich...
id rather a regular sized "Family" house with a large lawn and lost of crap than a huge house and nice cars and nothing to fill it with...
that is a sweet looking rig man. great find!
theres one near me for sale at a dealership, i didnt even ask the price, it was clean, slightly lifted with mud tires, and off road gear, the works of it too. but hey, maybe i can get it if i skip out a year at RPI... probably the same price

Defenders are one of my favorite SUVs. Had a friend who's family had two 97s(One Black soft top and one blue hard top like the one pictured). Also have a friend with a yellow one that has a set of 35 BFG Muds and a lot of other work to it. Yours look great btw

If ever you can import cars that are older than 20 or 25 years old without modifying them. The defender came out in 84 in Europe called a 90 then changed to defender in the 90’s. I have this one for sale; it has 50k on the clock from 85, repainted but has a slow 2.5i Gas (most European ones have a D or TDI or TD5 depending on the year in it. Yours for 5000. - + shipping. Just swap a RR engine in it and voila.

Thanks yall, But it's not my house it's my parents house and yes it is fully furnished.
I love my d-90 ,can't be ripping it up all the time so I got the 92' Range and wanted something different so I sold the 88' Range i was going to use for a parts truck and bought a cherokee. So now I have two trail trucks but the 92' is my DD right now because i don't want to put any miles on my baby.http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e303/TN-LR3/d-90/IMG_2243.jpg
